In response to the issues and concerns raised at our very successful 'Help Shape the Future' event, YCF announces the launch of our new Skills Community of Interest (CoI).
The day will include contributions from the following organisations
Cogent Sector Skills Council / NSAPI - New Technical Apprenticeship Service together with other available programmes.
HCF – The continuing success of CATCH
BASF-will give an insight into their training initiative that they have set up on their Bradford and Grimsby sites in conjunction with NSAPI.
Cogent Sector Skills Council / NSAPI - Foundation Degree, University of Hull and Process Safety Leadership.
University of Huddersfield – Business engagement, interaction between the University and business for industry specific skills development.
Intelligent Formulation Ltd – Development of a formulation training programme for business.
Unilever – winners of the British Aerosol Manufacturers' Association (BAMA) awards for their CRS Training programme tell us how they succeeded.

We are have a morning and afternoon sessions each with a slightly different focus, you can attend them both or please feel free to just come to one if that session is of more interest to you.
THE MORNING – THE FIRST STEP TO UPSKILLING YOUR WORKFORCE.
This morning session is designed as an introduction to the initial level of apprenticeships, skills and training, up to QCF level 2 (including NVQ 2) or GCSE A* to C, to let the government explain click here
THE AFTERNOON – THE SECOND STEP TO UPSKILLING YOUR WORKFORCE
In the afternoon session we will expand upon the morning session by looking at skills and training at a higher level, at QCF level 3 and above, (i.e. NVQ 3+), A Level, post graduate and professional development to let the government explain click here
