At the strategic level Cogent, the sector skills council responsible for the chemical industry is actively working to determine the agenda for the future. The sector skills agreement is a national consultative process. YCF is ensuring that our region’s needs are incorporated.

The Learning and Skills Council in West Yorkshire funds a skills broker for the chemicals sector to identify specific needs and deliver training and development activities to address them.
