Protection of plants against abiotic stress

A German University has disclosed an additional use of the chemical compound ASM (Acibenzolar-S-Methyl) which has up to now been used as a fungicide. The researchers demonstrated that ASM, apart from its anti-fungal properties, increases the resistance of plants against abiotic stress such as drought, cold, heat and salinity. Companies from the bio-/agro industries are sought for licence agreements.

New catalysts for olefins metathesis to green and optimize chemical processes

A French Spin-off has developped and patented new catalysts for olefins metathesis notably used in Fine Chemistry. The Spin-off offers know-how and solutions to design tailor-made Ruthenium catalysts according to stability or activity control needed for specific chemical reactions. Moreover the Spin-off has patented a new technology dedicated to remove the residual Ru in the new formed products. The Spin-off looks for a Technical Co-operation and Commercial agreement with Technical assistance.
